We understand that purchasing a digital product like The Hashimoto Cookbook is a personal decision, and we want you to feel confident in your purchase. Below is our refund policy, designed to be fair, transparent, and easy to follow.
General Policy
Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are generally considered final. However, we offer refunds on a case-by-case basis to ensure a positive customer experience.
Eligibility for Refunds
You may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:
Accidental Purchase: If you purchased The Hashimoto Cookbook by mistake and have not downloaded the e-book, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
Technical Issues: If you cannot access or download the e-book due to a technical error, and our support team cannot resolve the issue, you may qualify for a full refund.
Duplicate Purchase: If you were charged more than once for the same e-book, we will issue a refund for the duplicate charge(s).
Dissatisfaction with Content: If the e-book does not meet your expectations, you may request a refund within 7 days, explaining why you were dissatisfied. Each request is reviewed individually.
Non-Refundable Situations
We do not issue refunds in the following cases:
You have already downloaded the e-book and simply changed your mind.
You expected a physical copy but purchased a digital product.
Refund requests made more than 7 days after purchase.
You didn’t read the product description or details before purchasing.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email jane.livingwithhashimoto@gmail.com with the following details:
Your full name and email address used during purchase
Date of purchase
Order number (if available)
Reason for your refund request
Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Cancellations and Exchanges
Cancellations: Orders may only be canceled before the e-book is downloaded. Once the download link has been used, cancellations are no longer possible.
Exchanges: As digital products are not returnable, we do not offer direct exchanges. However, if you purchased the wrong product or version by mistake, contact us immediately, and we’ll do our best to help.
Examples
✅ Example 1: You purchased The Hashimoto Cookbook twice by accident. Email us with your details, and we’ll refund the second charge.
✅ Example 2: You can’t open the e-book file, and our support team confirms a technical error. You’re eligible for a refund.
❌ Example 3: You downloaded the e-book and decided it wasn’t what you expected after reading half. Unfortunately, refunds aren’t issued once the product is downloaded unless there’s a technical fault.
